应能源科学与工程学院邀请，土耳其安兹耶因大学（Ozyegin University）M. Pinar Mengüç教授将于6月11日来我校开展学术交流，欢迎感兴趣的老师和同学积极参加！

报告题目：粒子辐射换热特性和能量获取应用（Particle Radiation Transfer and EnergyHarvesting Applications）

Particle Radiation Transfer and Energy Harvesting Applications

Concerns about developing solutions and strategies to avoid the negative impacts of climate change to our environment. Based on nanoscale transport and radiative heat transfer phenomena, energy conservation and innovations in buildings, expected to play a significant role in revitalizing the traditional energy industries and stimulating the emerging renewable energy industries. This seminar series will outline the radiation transfer and a discussion of particle characterization, energy harvesting and manufacturing efforts we had over the years. It will include i) overview of radiation heat transfer, ii) a discussion of particle characterization; and iii) energy harvesting and manufacturing: from fundamentals to applications.

l M. Pinar Mengüç教授简介：

Mengüç教授是国际辐射传热领域的知名学者，于1985年在美国普渡大学（Purdue University）获得博士学位，后进入美国肯塔基大学（University of Kentucky）任教，3年后担任副教授，5年后担任教授，任纳米工程实验室主任。于1998-1999年期间在美国哈佛大学/麻省综合医院担任访问学者，2011年担任意大利那不勒斯费德里克二世大学（Universita degli Studi "Federico II”）客座教授。现任ASME传热期刊（ASME Journal of Heat Transfer）技术副主编，定量光谱学与热辐射期刊（Journal of Quantitative Spectroscopy and Radiative Transfe）主编。2006年，担任厄瓜多尔高等理工大学（ESPOL, Escuela Superior Politécnica del Litoral）荣誉教授。Mengüç教授于1997年~2007年期间组织过5次辐射传热领域的国际会议，迄今已发表期刊论文100余篇，国际会议论文140余篇和多本专著，指导超过40余名研究生。2009年以来，担任土耳其安兹耶因大学（Ozyegin University）能源、环境与经济中心（Center for Energy, Environment and Economy，CEEE）主任和机械工程系的创始主任（Founding Head of Mechanical Engineering program）。

Mengüç教授现为美国机械工程师协会（ASME）会士（Fellow）；2010年，代表土耳其参与欧洲第七框架计划（European Framework programs FP-7）能源领域的谈判，并担任欧盟2020远景计划（Horizon 2020 Program）的土耳其代表。 2011年，获得IBM颁发的智慧星球奖（IBM Smarter Planet Award）。
